Catch the Wind and Create with Your Own Weathervane!

The Weathervane material pack is a fun, hands-on activity designed for Key Stage 1 and lower Key Stage 2 classrooms. Children will design and build their very own working weathervane, discovering how the wind’s direction can be measured in a simple, practical way. Along the journey, they’ll explore early science concepts, develop fine motor skills, and strengthen problem-solving abilities. Children can unleash their creativity as they decorate and personalise their weathervanes, making each one unique. Blending STEM learning with art and design, this engaging project is the perfect way to inspire curiosity about the world around us!
