Free-standing Photo frame

Create a free standing photo frame and theme it around popular holiday occasions. Throughout this project, children will have an opportunity to explore existing products, design their product and use tools such as sandpaper and PVA wood adhesive to make their piece. This project is perfect to harness independent and truly unique designs.
Description
Each material pack comes with the following components:
- MDF sides
- 5mm dowel for stand
- Laser-ply ‘With lots of love’ sign
- Grey board stars (4 per unit)
- Clear Perspex
- Tape
- Card
Children can also use a variety of embellishments to ‘finish’ their item appropriately (please note, we do not provide embellishments other than the stated laser cut stars). This material pack includes the Hepp DT ‘design portfolio’ that includes a range of resource that covers the design, make, evaluate and technical knowledge aspects of the project.
Junior hacksaws, g-clamps and bench hooks are required to cut the dowel and a drill (with a 5mm drill bit) is required to drill the hole for the stand. If you do not have the necessary tools required, please order the ‘pre-cut’ option at checkout – all components will be pre-cut and drilled for your convenience, if you choose this option.
Each material pack comes with sandpaper and PVA wood adhesive as standard.
PLEASE NOTE – photos are not provided – each photo frame holds a 15cm x 10cm photo (portrait).
