Create a working wheelbarrow which combines a structure with a series of mechanisms (wheels, axles, lever and fulcrum). This project is perfect for Key Stage 1 children as it allows creativity, design and the understanding of many different mechanisms. This project allows children full creativity as they can embellish their wheelbarrow and fill it with whatever they can find (bottle tops, lollipop sticks, feathers – the list is endless!).

Please note embellishments are NOT included.
